Kenny Tan was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya in 2016. Since year 2019, his main area of practice is criminal defence and has extensive experience in handling diverse range of criminal offences such as commercial crime, drug trafficking, human trafficking, immigration, general penal code offences and many others. Prior to this, Kenny Tan was a former police inspector attached with the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department of Royal Malaysian Police for three (3) years from January 2013 till October 2015. Besides court appearance for criminal Trial and Mention, Kenny Tan also actively engages and meeting with law enforcement officers such as the Royal Malaysian Police or Immigration authorities to deal with issues related to arrest, bail and remand for investigation. Being a criminal law practitioner, Kenny Tan always strive to provide strategic advice, prepare convincing Letter of Representations to Prosecution Chambers, conduct effective cross examination against prosecution witness during Trial and submit persuasive written submission after Trial to achieve a favourable outcome on behalf of the accused / clients.
